After Sex is not an earth-shattering film or anything, but surprisingly many of the eight vignettes about couple having conversations (you guessed it) after sex, are actually very interesting. Some are sad, some are touching and one of them (the final one) is downright hilarious.
Having such a large cast is both a good and a bad thing, though. The good thing is that the film constantly keeps you on your toes as the characters, relations and environments keep changing. The bad thing is that you never get to care that much about any of the characters and/or situations.
With what little time each couple has, however, I think the film did a remarkable job at least making the ride an interesting one and sometimes that’s all you can ask for.
