Just purchased the new Abandoned Pools album. It’s magnificent. It seems like Tommy Walter has found a pretty unique sound; it definitely doesn’t sound like anything else at the top of my head.
The thing I love about all three of his records is that while he does the usual 11 or 12 tracks, some tracks are 4 or 5 minutes, making each album’s length ~50 minutes and not because of repetitiveness, instead they are absolutely filled with details, layers and just overall intricacy.
Lazy, this man is not. Thank you, it was worth the wait.
